InnoFemme is a women-led African nonprofit reshaping how technology and innovation are built to serve everyone. We equip African women with the tools, confidence and community to build differently.
Too much of today's technology was built without women in mind. Facial recognition fails to see us; hiring algorithms inherit old biases; credit systems automate exclusion. We believe African women hold not only the skills, but the ethical framework needed to build a more just technological future.
For too long, the conversation about women in technology has stopped at representation — counting how many women are in the room. InnoFeminism asks a harder question: what are they building once they get there, and whose problems does it solve? Innovation itself becomes the site of advocacy.
Innofeminism is how we work — the belief that the future of technology cannot be coded without the people it was never designed for, and the discipline of making sure they are in the room. The evidence, the framework and the three moves that turn it into practice live on our praxis page.
